Student Union Board [SUB Logo Redesign]

As a designer for the Student Union Board (SUB) of Notre Dame, I felt it necessary to re-design the SUB logo to make it more compatible with our poster designs since we were required to place it on everything we created. I decided to keep the same basic shape and composition of the old logo in order to keep it recognizable, but the overall appearance needed an update. Streamlining and simplifying the form has allowed the logo to blend more harmoniously with text and to be more easily read at smaller sizes. 2008.
